Chat & News Overview

Chat & News is an invaluable platform designed for you to stay informed about the latest developments within your company, engage in meaningful conversations with fellow agents, and efficiently communicate your needs and requests within the myTRIBUS environment. This interactive space allows you to connect with your colleagues on a variety of topics, whether you're seeking advice, sharing insights, or discussing important updates. By utilizing the Chat & News section, you can foster collaboration and build a sense of community among agents, ensuring that everyone is on the same page and empowered to contribute to the success of the brokerage.


Step 1: Login to myTRIBUS.


Step 2: Select "chat & news" from the left-hand side menu.




Your myTRIBUS Chat and News section is the primary hub for communications within your brokerage and its business. This dynamic platform is designed to facilitate seamless interactions, ensuring you stay updated and connected with your colleagues. Here, you can access a variety of features that enhance your communication experience:

- Various Channels: Channels are dedicated spaces for specific topics or themes, allowing you to join discussions that are relevant to your interests or responsibilities. Each channel serves a unique purpose, making it easier to find and engage with content that matters most to you.

- Creating Threads: You have the ability to initiate conversations by creating threads. This feature empowers you to share important updates, ask questions, or seek advice from your peers. When you create a thread, it becomes a central point of discussion, inviting input and collaboration from others.

- Replying to Threads: Engaging in conversations is straightforward with the option to reply to existing threads. This allows you to contribute your thoughts, provide additional information, or ask follow-up questions, fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing.

- Subscribing and Unsubscribing from a Channel: You can customize your experience by subscribing to channels that align with your interests. Subscribing ensures you receive notifications and updates when new threads are posted, while unsubscribing allows you to manage your feed and focus on the discussions that are most pertinent to you.

 

The Chat & News section is an open area for communication within your brokerage, promoting transparency and accessibility. Your brokerage has the ability to create custom threads tailored to meet the needs of the team, enhancing the overall communication strategy. Some examples of these custom threads may include:

- Important Messages from IT: Stay informed about critical updates and system changes that impact your daily operations.

- Looking for Recommendations: Seek and share recommendations for services, tools, or vendors that can help improve your work efficiency.

- Legal News & Updates: Access vital legal information that may affect your business practices and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

- Social Events: Engage with colleagues by sharing information about upcoming social gatherings, team-building activities, or networking opportunities.

By leveraging these features, you can actively participate in the community, strengthen your professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and support within your brokerage.



Note: You have the ability to tell if you are subscribed to a channel by noticing the check-mark to the right of the channel name. If there is an eye icon next to the channel then that means you are unsubscribed.


Note: When you post a thread in a channel everyone who is subscribed to that channel will receive an email that you have posted a thread for them to view. If a channel has a grey checkmark then that means it is mandatory you are subscribed to that channel and you will not be able to post in that channel because it is for your brokerage to update you only.
